peaceful late summer days

It's been warm here. We've had several days of weather in the upper 70s and lower 80s. I shed. Mama brushes or combs me. I shed. Mama holds me. I shed. Gee, I see a pattern here!

Even though I got a tummy trim for the summer, I'm still developing lots of matted fur. Mama has small, extra-sharp scissors. Uncle Jerry holds me and Mama does the trimming. I complain but I don't really mind. I mean, c'mon, two humans loving on me at one time?! Does it get any better than that? Didn't think so.

Here's one thing that I can't say I really like: since Mama quit her job nearly two weeks ago, I haven't had much extra cuddle time with her. She's always busy doing something. Today, she says, the table will be done. Then she has a meeting in downtown Seattle this afternoon.

Tomorrow is her busy day: she's got client meetings and then she meets with the President of the Board of Directors where she used to work. We're all curious about what's going to happen with that one.

Glad you got the mats out. I have long fur and I hate when it gets tangled. I hate it more when Mommy takes the scissors to get it untangled.
Good luck to your mom in her meeting. My Mommy messaged her on FB a couple days ago.

The summertime can really be a pain sometimes with all that heat. We are happy that you are able to get so extra cuddle time with your mom now. Thanks for sharing the update. Have a great day.
