mama's got the camera ready to go today. she gets to go see our new place tonight, and is going to pictures! i'll ask her to share.
she'll also take pics of the car that she buys this weekend. wonder what she'll get? turns out that most mini-vans don't have much leg room and she's got REALLY long legs (car spec checks at a car review site show them to have the least leg room of any vehicle). a pick-up truck? or a giant comfy sedan. we'll let you know.
this is one of those times when mama really really misses uncle rich. he went with her on every car buying trip for the past 10 years. he was easy to have along...and helped mama be sure that she was getting something decent for her money. sometimes it's hard to believe that he's been gone for three months. even though he used to tease that i was a phantom cat, i know he was a good guy. (if mama can figure out how to copy a picture from cousin sunny's myspace page, she'll post a few pics of uncle rich.)
time for mama to get ready for work. we all know what i'd rather have today...so i'll seek my own warm and cozy! lol

I'm glad that your mama got the zipster sold and out of her universe ... Mini vans are yucky unless you buy a Honda Odyssey ... Mom's close comadre has one and she really likes it, but she's 5'3" tall so it has plenty of legroom for her. I still think that your mama should get a Volvo or a Honda Civic sedan. Both will have adequate legroom and passenger space.
If your mama goes to the store, have her pick up some salmon and egg soufflé in the new Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys ... We had some tonight and Fudgie pigged out. He's got a little appetite like you do and he's about the same poundage. He finished his first and was skulking around our bowls for more. You and Ben could split a can.

Oh, Mom said that she misses Uncle Rich, too ... He was a furry good guy (and she loved that he'd started looking like Santa ... ). Sniff ...

I can't wait to see your pics of the new place and car. My Mommie says she knows about the leg room issue (she is 5'9").
I'll bet Uncle Rich is looking over her to help her choose the right car because his advice will always be with her. Tell her good luck and happy shopping!
here's how our Lady bought her car last July...her very old, very beat up car died near the garage. she pushed it by herself out to the street and sat there waiting for the tow truck. her next door neighbor drove up in a car with numbers stuck to the windsheild. the Lady got out and asked the neighbor if he sold used cars. he said yes. she said "I'll take that one you're driving", and she did.
sounds like you're gonna do it the fun way. hope your momma finds something she loves!
