bad mom on mancat monday

here it is...my first really important mancat monday. i mean, i have a new baby sister, and it's really important that i establish myself as the mancat of the house. mom didn't take any pictures! she spent the weekend: reading, drinking diet coke and entering codes into 'mycokerewards.com', eating gluten-free pizza, playing scrabble, and finally filling food bowls and changing water. no misunderstanding: she made sure we had what we needed: plenty of fresh water and food in our bowls..but STILL no pictures! i think i might have guilted her into doing a better job. we'll see when she gets home tonight...

baby lucy-furr here: GUESS WHAT? I'M NOT AFRAID OF THE WHIRLY BIRD! (ben: shhh, luce, you don't have to shout.) BUT I'M SO HAPPY! SO EXCITED! LOOK! I POO'ED IN MY BOX! I BITED MOMMY'S FINGERS! I POUNCED ON YOUR TAIL! I BUNNY-KICKED THE 'NIP MOUSIE! I RUN LIKE THE WIND AND MOMMY CAN'T CATCH ME!

and i hissed at you, thrashed my tail, licked mom's fingers, used my box like a gentleman, let you play with my 'nip mouse, and sat on mom as much as she would let me.

Mom here: yes, the baby is full of energy and mischief. Ben looks staid compared to her. I can tell he wants to play with her, and who knows what they'll do when I leave for work in about 20 minutes. Ben is sure the baby food is for him. Lucy-furr is sure that everything is for her!

Oh, the joys of kittens! Lucy, you sound like a real charmer. I am glad you have such a good big brother to look out for you and teach you the big-cat ways.

Ben, now that you have a baby sister to take care of, you are even more manly!

Oh sounds like there will be lots of fun happening in the house today. Hope everything is in one piece when you return! Wish I had some of Lucy's energy - I'd like to go someplace and take a nap. T.

Ben and Lucy seem to be getting along much better now. I can tell that you are a mancat even without a picture, Ben. Lucy, try not to wreck the house while Mom is at work.

Hello sweet children! Oh Lucy, you are a real joy! And Benji, my dear sweet Benji! I love that your house is so lively! You're being such a good big brother and even though you won't admit to it right now, you already love your new sister!

Toni, Kim here. I'm a big HP fan, too!!! I preordered my copy on the Deathly Hallows 3 months ago! All day Friday I sat on the edge of my seat just waiting until Saturday when the postal carrier would deliver my copy. Saturday came and so did my book. Then, as always the case, the moment I opened my book, all hell broke loose. Everybody needed me every minute of the day and on Sunday as well. ARGH! So today I plan to sit down with my book, bedroom door locked, hubby in charge of dinner and I'm going to READ MY BOOK! LOL!

Well my loved ones, I'm taking a break as my post for today will explain. I'll be visiting you though so don't worry that I won't be around! Your Daddy loves you VERY much!

Love,
Daddy

Happy day to you BenFuzzbert.
You are a manly catguy. I like the way you are being very chill and tolerant with the whirling and wild tiny tiger. I hope you two did a fine job of trashing the place while mommie was at work.

Lucylove, listen to your big mancatly brother!
<3

We have been thinking about all of you. What an exciting change.

Our mommie has not even started the book here, Blizz is reading it first.

Happy Mancat Monday, sweetie!

Purrs and snuggles from your loving sister,
