ben got clippy claws tonight. you should have heard him complain! like mama was cutting off his feet or something. he doesn't get that a pawdicure is a nice way to spend some 1:1 time with mom. she'll sing a bit, give some good love in between clipping each claw, and then maybe even give a treat afterwards. he's--i think--a fussbudget.
i already had my pawdicure...on sunday. every kitty needs a little pampering. have you had yours?

Ben is still very young. Maybe he doesn't like being held still long enough to get his pawdicure.
It sounds like your Mom gives good pawdicures. I don't like having my toenails cut, I like them long and sharp. But when they have to get cut, I just sit there and tolerate it. I don't like it. Nope.
Your mom is very sweet that she sings to Ben. One day he might tolerate it better. You mom has a good method to help him feel comforted and that he trusts her.

Yep. Clippy claws is a pretty familiar thing at our house. I've gotten mine done twice in the past two weeks, 'cuz Mom's had free time to catch and wrestle with me. She still needs to do Cocoa Puff's ... I don't envy her that task.

About your comment on my blog, I can't imagine trying to teach someone to write limericks the way I do. I just think of a kitty and either the limerick comes or it doesn't.
I get my nails clipped every week. They grow fast because I'm a Sphynx. I like that I get treats when my mom is done.
It sounds like your mom gives good pawdicures. :)
I definitely need one, but I'm keeping that quiet.
